Diabetic? What You are Not Being Told about Carbohydrates

Chances are your doctor, dietitian and diabetes educator are unknowingly working for The Insulin Cartel.

No it isn’t a grand conspiracy to fuel your obesity, drive your kidneys to failure, destroy your heart or amputate your feet at some point.

tried every diet and still can't lose weight

It’s the simple revelation that their circle of influence does not reach beyond peers whose science is not funded directly by either the pharmaceutical complex or the associations the pharmaceutical complex has in its pocket.

You can create a double-blind, random, peer reviewed, 6 month study with 500 participants of multiple sexes, races and ages and end up with a outcome that serves your shareholders.

Look at The John Tesh Radio Show.

One week it’s “A recent study showed that people who ate a tomato before exercising burned an extra 300 calories during their workout…”

Six weeks later it’s “Thinking of having a salad before a workout? Better not. Researchers in Finland found that eating tomatoes before exercising can slow your metabolism by up to 50 percent…”

And on it goes.

It’s the job of donors and lobbyists to make certain only the studies that put their industry in the best light are chosen for publication and circulation.

Like I said, this is not a grand conspiracy the standard medical practitioner has devised to keep you ill.

In fact, your physician, dietitian and diabetes educator have, for years, told you to stop smoking, start exercising and eat healthy foods.

Some of us did that. Most of us didn’t.

The source of my disappointment is that what they ALL have been needing to tell you is that “YOU ARE CARBOHYDRATE INTOLERANT!

You have Type 2 Diabetes because you are carbohydrate intolerant.

It’s difficult to manage your Type 1 Diabetes because you are carbohydrate intolerant.

If you are obese, there is a 99.9% chance you are carbohydrate intolerant.

So you are told to exercise more, eat healthy, stop smoking and just increase your insulin after eating your USDA approved food pyramid meal.

This when the focus of your treatment should be “You are carbohydrate intolerant. Stop consuming sugar. Stop consuming high-fructose fruit. Stop putting starchy vegetables in your mouth. Stop eating bread and pasta. Stop eating anything that has wheat flour in it. STOP NOW, YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO CARBOHYDRATES!

Instead you are told to increase your insulin.

“What? Turn the food pyramid upside down” you say?

That’s right. Eliminate the bread and the grains and the pasta and all of the fat-free, highly-refined, high fructose corn syrup laden, pre-packaged garbage in your pantry.

Throw it out and with it the refined sugar in your home and all the food in the refrigerator and on the shelves that contain sugar (or any form of it).

Why? Because you are allergic to carbohydrates. You can’t process them. They are killing you.

They are leaking through your gut and for years your immune system has fought them destroying your adrenal system and thyroid in the process. (((Dr. Josh Axe: 4 Steps to Heal Leaky Gut and Autoimmune Disease)))

It takes 10 years of destruction (((Dr. Isabella Wentz: Hashimoto’s Protocol: A 90-Day Plan for Reversing Thyroid Symptoms and Getting Your Life Back))) before your simple thyroid panel test shows you are in trouble. You must demand thyroid anti-body tests.

Now that your hormones are completely out of balance it becomes even more difficult to manage your weight and energy levels.

Your endocrine system is crying out for your medical providers to simply tell you “Stop eating carbohydrates. “

So what will you eat? How could this new diet/lifestyle be sustainable?

The “not sustainable” lie is thoroughly entrenched throughout the medical establishment.

There are well over 750,000 low-carbohydrate, zero-gluten, nutrient packed recipes on Pinterest and the internet.

Hundreds of thousands of blogs, functional-practitioners and resources exist to help you on your way.

Our dinner tonight- Garlic mashed-cauliflower smothered in cheese and bacon, a spinach side-salad with Caesar dressing and pumpkin seeds, seasoned steamed-broccoli and scrambled eggs.

How is this not sustainable?

What is not sustainable is the advice for you to eat carbohydrates, in moderation or not.

There are Type 1 Diabetic, marathon-running, physician nephrologist (((Dr. Keith Runyan: asweetlife.org))) sustaining this diet for years. Why haven’t you heard of them?

Do you think they advise their patients to carry on and just increase their insulin? No. They don’t.

So why is your practitioner not telling you the same?

Because the gears of medical science turn very slowly. Board seats slowly are refilled as members retire.

The short-lived nutrition class your doctor attended was most likely a good time to catch up on sleep from studying all night for a bio-chemistry, anatomy or physiology exam.

The years of study your dietitian completed were tainted with out-dated and most often industry sponsored research.

But as we face the largest pandemic of obesity and diabetes this planet has ever known, those gears are going into overdrive.
