So you are looking for an easy keto diet? Well, that’s what the keto diet is right, easy!
There is no need to complicate a ketogenic diet as it is one of the most effective and easy ways to eat and lose weight.
When we first started out on our keto weight loss journey we didn’t have lots of cash to go out and buy the best quality products.
Things worked out for us and you can see my 60-day keto results here. These results were obtained by using a very easy keto diet.
My wife and I got up in the morning and started our day with keto coffee.
Just a simple French press of espresso beans. After brewing the coffee, I would add it to the blender.
I would then scoop in about:
- 2 heaping teaspoons of virgin coconut oil
- about one tablespoon of butter
- a generous shake of cinnamon
- about 2 tablespoons of MCT Oil
- 1/2 a cup of half & half
- 2 heaping tablespoons cheap Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of Himalayan salt
This would fill up the blender about 2/3rds full.
Now, this liquid is very hot so you never want to put the lid on the blender all the way. Otherwise, you are asking for pressure to build and blow up or hurt you somehow.
So just set the lid on so pressure can escape.
This yields about 2 cups of breakfast coffee for each of us in the morning.
There is so much fat in this breakfast it’s a challenge to get hungry anytime soon.
Lunch on our easy keto diet is simple as well. We eat lunch when we get hungry so it’s not always at noon.
Usually, we will have bacon, eggs, and spinach. Using the same pan, I will cook four slices of bacon, two for each of us.
I then cook 4 eggs in the bacon oil until the yolks are solid. After I take the eggs out I throw in about 4 cups of fresh spinach and cook it down until it’s about 1/2 cup.
Then I divide the spinach, bacon, and eggs between the two of us. If we need more fat for the day I might add sour cream or shredded cheese.I just eat for effect for now and that effect is to lose weight. #ketoClick To Tweet
Dinner on our easy keto diet is mostly protein and veggies.
So we will have steak, chicken or whey or pea-protein powder and a salad. The salad is usually fresh spinach, romaine, cucumbers, mozzarella, pumpkin seeds, green olives, a few cherry tomatoes and maybe some celery.
The salad is usually fresh spinach, romaine, cucumbers, mozzarella, pumpkin seeds, green olives, a few cherry tomatoes and maybe some celery.
I dress this with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
We also use a Ceasar and Italian store brand dressing from our local Sprouts market as it has no added sugar. It’s soybean oil based, however, and that is not an oil we want to consume.
So I use that sparingly and lean mostly towards just a clean vinegar and oil dressing.
Keep in mind, we eat absolutely zero pasta, grain of any type, sugar or starchy vegetables.
You have to pick one. You can’t have carbs and tons of fat, nor vice versa.
Our vitamin stack is Magnesium Glycinate, Potassium Citrate, Vitamin C, a cheap multi-vitamin, Vitamin E, Vitamin D, a B-Complex, Vitamin E, Omega-3 and Selenium if we arent having Brazil nuts that week.
We also have Sprouts brand Organic Apple Cider Vinegar after every meal and before bed I have a couple of teaspoons of Bob’s Red Mill Potato Starch mixed in a glass of water.
This starch is a nightshade so avoid it if you are on a Hashimoto protocol.
I haven’t ruled out the nightshade family so for me I continue using the potato starch. (it’s pretty much zero glycemic)
Boring Diet? Absolutely. I don’t really look at food currently as what I want or variety.
I just eat for effect for now and that effect is to lose weight.

If I need a snack I have celery and cream-cheese at night or maybe some pork rinds for a salty fix.
Well, that’s our easy keto diet in a nutshell. Hopefully, it just gets you started with your keto weight-loss journey.
